Hello to All Girls!
As I showed in this post (clic!!) , I bought the Henna "Reflections Scarlatti" of LUSH. I was very intrigued by this product, because the description on the website said suitable for brown hair streaked to give just the effect I wanted, but at the same time I was intimidated because I thought that I come out out of the fiery red hair! There are now three years that I'm done with the colors of hair and I never want to approach a chemical coloring my hair. I had already tried the effect of last year trying henna brown color but this time I wanted to venture a little 'and just tried a product that reflected my hair in shades of copper. The Henna "Reflections Scarlatti" by LUSH seemed the perfect solution for what I wanted.
If you have never done henna and if you have chemically treated hair with color that is permanent and always try ironing with the effect on a lock!
WARNING: Making Henna is a job exhausting that will make you rail against yourself and against the time when you had the idea to do so. To do so messy the bathroom to the ceiling and you will take an hour to clean everything! You will have to hold onto as much as possible, a minimum of 2 hours up to overnight, depending on your appetite! Use old T-shirts and damaged when you apply for will remain completely smeared. Use of rubber kitchen gloves are heavier and longer the better! And ultimately wasting 3 cubic meters of water to rinse your hair!
You've been warned, then do not say I did not know ;-)
There are various ways and recipes for henna, that I do is particularly suitable for dry hair. If you have oily hair or other features look for the right recipe for your needs online.
HERE (clic!!) you can read the instructions given by LUSH on how to do henna.
My method is slightly different.
Ingredients:
- half of stick of LUSH Henna for hair, medium / long;
- black tea is very hot, almost boiling pint;
- a jar of white yogurt;
- porcelain bowl / glass, wooden spoon and kitchen gloves, pad and film.
armes Do not use metal and do not use the microwave!
These are the ingredients:
First, take your loaf of Henna and grate half, if you hair from short to medium use 2 squares, if you have medium to used 3 squares long, if you have them very long Used 4 or 5 squares, if you have them very long, very long used all six squares. I have hair long enough and I just 3 squares.
to grate loaf I used a simple kitchen grater, and I took advantage of big hands to drink it (note: my boyfriend) that you can see from the picture:
Prepare a pint of black tea and looking very hot, almost boiling, I used 3 packets:
Finally we prepare a pot of white yogurt, use the cheapest you find, my is dell'Eurospin ;-), a ceramic bowl and a wooden spoon.
PROCEEDINGS
First we put our cheese in the bowl Henna:
Slowly add the hot tea and stir to make a dough soft enough but not too thin, because then we add the yogurt that will make the mixture more fluid.
finally add all the yogurt and stir bene.
Massaggiate bene each section so as to penetrate the product well on all hair. If you do it you can comb your hair with a wide tooth comb, I do not do it because the product already so splashing everywhere, as if he were alive! There is no need to make tiny strands, the important thing is to penetrate the product well. Proceed as follows to cover all hair, and rehearse all good hairline. This is the first
:
And this is after, after applying henna on all hair
Now pull up your hair, stop them with a flannel. Take a sponge and clean around the edge of the hair, where did the Henna to avoid staining the skin, and wrap the head with the film:
This is the land Battle:
Now you do not have to do is keep the henna on for as long as possible. At least 2 hours. But if you can hold on 4, 5 hours up to overnight. I have held on for 4 hours.
Here we unpack our hair and begin to rinse them under water. It will take a long time and lots of water to remove all henna-haired. Then do a couple of shampoos to wash the hair, massaging the skin for a long time to remove any residue. As a last thing we bell'impacco nutrient with the balm, I used my beloved "Splendor in the Coconut", leave on for at least 10 minutes
These are my first henna hair:
This is the final result:
